Spot on Dia,not that I think we will backslide but it could easily happen.
One thing we did Sat night when H "picked me up" at the bar, was to talk about each other "in the context of having ex partners" in this we described to each other what we wanted from a life partner as though we were a couple just starting off looking for that special person and how the "ex" did not satisfy those needs desires.
This was a good way for us to get feelings and thoughts across in a non threatening way. Sounds silly but in a way this put the old R and M behind a now closed door with a big padlock on it and from now on this was our new R and M. Doing it this way neither of us felt that the other was being critical or hurtful.
