Considering the subject matter, I'm glad my W was NOT there. She would have (mentally) run.
She is tentatively moving in the right direction now, but it is clear that she is not going to be forced or coerced there by anyone...including the church.
Your W has to make up her own mind etrain. For her own reasons and through her own thought process.

I was actually focused on the part about LEAVING his mother and father and joining his wife. This is relevant to the fact that in my past I have placated my parents at the expense of my wife - really damaging my relationship. What I needed to do was stand up for my wife.
(I don't want to re-open this, as it was all discussed on earlier posts. I was just noting the thought)
