Hey Doc, You think he doesn't know? Even if he doesn't know the gory details - I'm certain that the positive changes in you shine forth from you every day. He sees those, and at some level - he DOES get it.
You're an example to that kid - of how to live, how to keep on going and be a happy person in spite of the bad stuff that inevitably comes into every life. I can't think of a better gift for a parent to pass along to their children, can you?
