I have two wonderful daughters but would have liked to have had a son. What I just can't get is walking away from a 2-year-old. He's missing so many firsts. Some day he's going to regret everything he's done. You can take that to the bank.
Mine are 7 and 10 so I've experienced a lot of the firsts, but it tears me up to think I may be the second to learn about them getting asked to homecoming, the first real date, etc.
