your olfactory senses are rather skewedmy friend. IOW you must have congestion associated with a cold or something cuz your sniffer aint workin worth a crap.
The sniffer is clean. Cleaned it out myself. lol. Maybe some Jack Daniels BBQ sauce on that roasted eagle.

My darn weekend would have been just dandy if that darn school from your state would let my team (Penn State) win a game every once and a while. I am beginning to hate the Hawkeyes.
Well, at least the Octoberfest beer was rather tasty. I tried a sports bar I had not been to before. They had 50 beers on tap. Let's just say I tried a few samples.
Other than talking to her on the phone, my darling and I took the weekend off from doing our usual thing.
I visited my parents and spent the night at their place on Sunday which was nice.
I gotta complete some online training for work today. Then I need to get back to trying to locate a more permanent place to live. Fun Fun.
need to go walk the incredible shedding K-9. Everywhere we go, there is always a gi-normaous cloud of dog hair that trails behinds us. I feel like supergluing her hair to her body so that the major major problem is abated.

I am soon going to be starting up some counseling for me. I have an appointment for 10/15. My darling and I continue to engage in rather encouraging type conversations. She is rather anxious to get settled into a new living arrangement as her current one (living with xh and their D20 is really "getting old" for her). She seems nearly ready to give another try to us living together once more. We talk nearly every day. During those talks both of us seems to be opening up more towards each other and more clearly expressing our views and ideas. I am beginning to feel more valued by her. By that I mean that she is making sure that I do not misconstrue some of her comments when we are talking on the phone. SHe also is realizing that, based upon how she is feeling, there may be times when it is better for her to just wrap up a phone call and head off to bed rather then shower me with a whole bunch of negative talk about her day and things. I am trying to do better (and sometimes I even manage to) about letting her have the space to just vent. And it even occurred to me the other day that when she had told me that she had a "rough day" at work and she was really feeling like crap that I did not attempt to get any more info from her related to what triggered her crappy day. So I did call her back a little bit after that and let her know that I was interested in hearing more about what had happened more at her work if she wished to share it.
Lots of little things and just about all of them positive. For these things I give great thanks to my loving God.
