I've been thinking about you all week, and was gonna touch base. Then, I remembered you were leaving sometime soon...so, I came here to check first. And, I did find you here!!!
I'm so glad that she finally initiated a conversation. I hope that it wasn't just because she was thinking you had someone else and that now that she knows you don't she's free to continue on her previous course...or lack of course. So, I think you are right to be only cautiously optimistic!!!! Hang in there.

I am cautious;y optimistic yes. Mostly because it seemed like her main point was that she said she didn't have the heart to ask me to sign the papers. The thing about me having found someone else seemed more like a sidenote to me.
