What does it matter what she does now? Hmm, I guess I can see that.

I suppose that if I were to come home tonight and find that she had piled her trunk, wedding dress, wedding photo's and all our other married momentos in a pile in the backyard and had a nice little bonfire going, that wouldn't have any meaning behind it either.

Guys, I hear you, what she chooses to do right now is her call, and I need to try to divest myself from her and concentrate on me. But the reality is, some things do can have a sense of meaning and importance behind them, and they can serve as tell tails.

Buttercup, I think you get where I'm coming from here. The fact is, the trunk has meaning to her, not just because it was something I made or because she likes it. It represents our engagement and our marriage. I'm surprised and glad that she is taking it, and a little puzzled too. In the grand scheme of things, as we work on budgets and parenting agreements, it means very little. But a little is all we need.
