If I am viewed as a father figure, that must mean she must view me as an authority figure, right? Is that good or bad?

Simply put, that's bad.
And not attractive at this stage in her life.
It isn't necessarily that you ACT like you are an authority figure either. But rather it's how the warped MLC mind might PERCEIVE you to be. And sadly, her perceptions are the rule right now.
