Well I made it through another one on one conversation. I actually talked to W for a few minutes before going for a walk. Let her know I'm under some stress from work and tiered so I was going to clear my head.

Once I got back came back down to my office and tried to work. She came down a few minutes later. We talked about a few little things, logistics. Then she lingered for a bit and started to walk off. I said, so how have you been and we had a nice 40 minute conversation. Would have probably gone longer but I had to pick up my sons and she had to take D somewhere.

The conversation was nothing spectacular, like many of the other conversations. Nothing about our R but we kind of danced around the edges. There were several long pauses that I left empty. We ended up talking about Dale Carnegie and the book I've been reading about Overcoming Worry. I just happen to have the golden book on my desk. We ended up talking about arguments and how useless they are in most cases. I brought up some observations and made a point to note one of my bigger faults - right fighting. She readily agreed and we had a good laugh.

All and all not a bad conversation but nothing really big either. I am however drained.
