We drove to the city this morning, visited a couple of places (really quick) and then we drove to Acropolis. We had a lovely coffee "underneath" the rock and then stbxH came to bring the kids and we left. Ali and BF are going up to see the temples and will be back here later.
Everything worked fine so far and they seem in a vacation mood. THey met stbxH for a brief second and although I tried to convince them to give him the cold shoulder they were polite and didnt... Oh well, it doesnt matter anyway. They will find their suitcase on the pavement, LOL!!!
I tried marmite, cant really tell what the taste is, cant say I loved it...
Ali tried greek coffee and lamb, big moments as they both said, now I need her to get try my beef with the red sauce. K
She couldnt sleep because she was hot and I was freezing last night!!
Sooo, stbxH sent me the letter. And he wants "to really try this time". He doesnt mention her at all. Already trying to ignore her I suppose, although he takes responsibility for where we stand. He says our bond is such that just wont break. That he cant forget all the good times we had together. He describes some of our very "bonding" moments.His letter is very touching.
He says we could even file and during the year, see if we can be together. He never mentions he loves me.
He says he respects and admires me soooo much. Repeats that I am the only one with this scary influence on him.
And says writting this has been very difficult for him but he means every word. And that if I decide there is no chance, he knows he was the one that brought us here... K
Words are cheap. Easy. I dont feel anything with this letter.The descriptions of our moments were touching. But that is all. I am detached. I asked for some explanations. I said I wont even think about it unless he answers those. Then maybe I will. I am not filing to use the year for reconciliation. If we file next week, it will be it.
