If my marriage fails, I'll be fine. I have lots of friends. I have plenty of opportunities to date. I love my children and love spending time with them. I've awakened to a new appreciation of life, especially my life. Most of all I'm appreciative of the people here who have stepped up to support me and help me. Still at the end of the day I'm looking to save a marriage. At times I feel like that is getting lost. Does that make sense? Call me on it if it doesn't.

We've all been there but first of all, it says that they can help you save your marriage. Have you called them? We are just people on a board giving advice. Second, in her books, she makes it clear that this a long counter-intuitive process, sometimes taking years to "save the marriage." Third, most of us on this site are at the most hopeless end of the spectrum and the rate of success is really low.

But, if you're really that determined to save your marriage no matter what, then accept that it may be a new marriage with your wife. You may get divorced, you may get 3/4 of the way to divorce and then it turns...IMO, this is the biggest test of faith, stay open, do what makes logistical sense one step at a time and stop making decisions about what you will or wont accept in the future. That may be the ticket to your acceptance and it may impact your relationship significantly.

This takes time...there is no panacea. Sorry.

Talked to W on phone while she was driving back from her weekend away with OM. Emotions got the better of me. Told her I couldn't be married to someone I love and care about while they are having relationship with OM. Told her I wanted D, wanted realtor, etc., etc. She said she didn't want to discuss anymore tonight. I love her with all my heart. I just can't keep hurting like this.
