It must be a big disappointment to have to postpone Retrouvaille at this point. And I am a big one for saying that you shouldn't let anything get in the way of going. But you did the right thing. I believe there will be a reward in the end. You have changed so much just in the last few weeks, really becoming a great husband to your wife. And I think she will recognize it. Your self-awareness is SO impressive.... identifying that nagging little voice in your head that encourages you to slipslide away as you get so close to your destination.
