Thought I was over this

I not doing well shutting things off in my mind. W and I have had a good week with smooth interactions on both sides. Called D11 after school yesterday and then W got on phone. She was at my house using my computer but, I'll let that slide today. Once W got on the phone I could not get her off. She kept talking and talking. I did get a chance to tell her a story about an incident with my bank. After I told the story she said wow your really stepping up. This is a big thing for her. My perspective is she really felt alone in our R and really wanted to be with a strong confident man. I'm getting there slowly.

In particular what is on my mind today is Retro. I have absolutely no idea how to broach that subject. I'm wondering if this is an opportunity for me to be strong and confident or if I should leave it alone for now.
