I digress, but my point is, by taking the edge off, are we averting necessary growth and personal understanding? Both individually and collectively. And of course all drugs have side effects.
There are caveats of course but I think it is worth considering.
Very good points. I'm inclined to jump right on your bandwagon in theory. But when I stop to think its not so easy. Do we let Darwinistic evolution run full throttle? Where do we draw the line? I probably would have lost W and first daughter during delivery without significant drugs, surgery and medical intervention!
On the flip side I was taking drugs for depression and hypertension before I left W. I was convinced that heredity had done me in and I had zero hope for control over that. Now I am fit, happy healthy and taking nothing. Don't need it. Hmmmm
