Have to say I love what Mach does here-straight to the point and with great insight.
Wish I`d borrowed your thread title Cat! Its just sooo appropriate for my H to describe him as a turtle(oh and odn`t worry I`ve called him many things in my day!In my not so wise pre DB days!!)
Anyway, after a little peek out yesterday and this am, he`s back in his shell again! Grrrrrrr!
Last night I was at church. During the meditation time, I was just sitting there in the silence that is so unusual for my brain. It was nice, no thoughts, not feelings, just quiet. All of a sudden, I started to smile. I have no idea why, nothing seemed to precede it, but it was nice.
About 20 minutes after the meditation ended, I got a text message from a friend, simply said "smile".
What a nice ending to a nice day.

Hey don't worry, you will figure out the FB. There is are just so many things on there and it has changed a lot too. I haven't done anything with mine like I thought I might. I sort of got sideways with the football on Sunday, which is a wonderful thing for me.

You know I thought I was appropriate at the time. Slow moving, ducks back in the shell at the first sign of perceived danger. You can have it if you want. I'm changing the theme with my next thread cuz this is about me now.
