Sunday morning Dan was at the house and Syndey pipes up out of the blue "Daddy I want you and mommy to get married again".
Dan just said "I know"
Then yesterday Nathan drew a picture of a house w/flowers in the front yard. Said it was the house we were going to build on the farm and we were all going to live in it together.
Then last night on the phone he told Dan all about the house he drew that we were going to live in. And he asked his dad if he could have a dog when we all moved to the farm. And his dad (according to Nathan) told him "Yes." wtf
I am going up to sign the petition today. The attorney said he then sends it to the courthouse in our county and once he gets it back I can serve Dan. It takes a few days to get it back. I really hope it is back by Friday.
Did not talk to the pastor again, but he is in favor of me filing, I already know that. I did call the authors of the "Boundaries" books yesterday (love that series esp boundaries in marriage).
They have a national show each day so I called and somehow luckily got on. Told them the current sitch, that he said he would do "A" and "B" but has done neither.
Based on the info I gave them (pretty much same info I gave you guys), they told me to file. Said that he is sleeping with her while wanting a family with me and trying to have both at once. (I know you all said the same). I mentioned him saying he knew he would never have a real relationship (public, kids involved, etc) with ow. And the one author said "Two words: SEX ADDICT. He knows he doesn't want a relationship with her but still sees her. That is because she is willing to give him what he wants (sex). As long as he has a willing 'dealer' he will hang on to that while getting everything else from you. So anyway long story short they agreed I should file. However they suggested that I do tell him in a short-to-the-point way.
Basically "Dan you said you would do A and B. You have done neither A nor B. So I am filing. You have 24 hours (their suggestion don't know about that verbage) to show through actions that you are serious or I am following through."
