As anticipated, Dick can't make this Monday's court time, and should have been given 5 days notice.
However, for some reason, Attorney "Dad" wants Dick to be Served the Contempt papers in California. I didn't have enough time to ask him why, but he doesn't do something without reason. He knows I don't have any money right now, but he seems unconcerned about the costs of having Dick served. He told me not to worry, it will all work out in the end.....
So, do you have a clue why my Attorney wants Dick served, instead of just notifying him in the usual way? The only thing I can think of is if he is served, is there a possibility of obtaining a different Judge? Even after 6 plus years of this divorce process, I still don't understand court, divorce law, or any of the procedures.... I feel a bit dense honestly, so I need someone to explain it to me using very little words..., ;-D
