Oh no, not a Titans fan. I'm a Seahawks fan. Which means I hate the Steelers. And also a Niners fan. And a Peyton Manning fan. Yep, the Titans kicker did blow it for them. BF has so many different players in fantasy I can't keep track yet. I think the Broncos got the better end of the Cutler/Orton trade but we'll see how that pans out. I just think Cutler is a big baby and he always looks stoned.

So does that mean you're a Bears fan? Sigh. BF's best friend is a Bears fan and BF is a Packers fan. It's going to be a tense night tomorrow.

A die-hard Bears fan...but my fantasy QB is Aaron Rogers so I'm hoping for a 31-28 Bears win with 4 TD's passes for Rogers!

LOL! laugh

BF has Tom Brady in two leagues and Drew Brees in another. He didn't get Peyton for me like he was supposed to (and did last year). I still call Matt Hasselbeck Baby Brett but think we'll start using that name for Rogers.

I've got Brady in my other league. It does get confusing being in multiple leagues.

I've got a question. Haven't heard a peep from W in two weeks. Not a big deal except that something pretty significant happened in my D's life last week. My step D's know about it so I'm sure my W does as well. I'm really surprised she didn't call or at least call my D. Nothing bad, let's just say my 11yr old little girl isn't a little girl anymore. That bothers me a bit, but I suppose no contact is better than bad contact???

I don't have kids but I would think that no contact is better than bad contact. I know it's disappointing but perhaps she thinks that she's making a clean break from both of you to lessen the pain. Just my thoughts.

I'm not disappointed, just surprised. If you're right and she's doing this to lessen the pain...which quite honestly it didn't seem she was feeling any of...maybe that's a good thing. This shouldn't be as simple as a roommate moving out, which is how she was going about it. On the other hand, maybe she just doesn't care. Oh well, enough mind reading.

So what do Pearl and BF have planned for this weekend...besides watching football?

Busy morning so far for me. Walked 4 miles, went to tennis lesson, browsed a moving sale, went to the farmers' market. BF had tennis after me and now is off playing golf with a guy from work and his friends. I'm supposed to be cleaning the house and working on my closet. wink Then I'm off for coffee with a girlfriend who's going to give me some referrals for an IC (she's working on her doctorate in psychology).

We got a second big tv and hooked it up in the family room so we can watch two games at once. Last night when we went to bed BF said "I love you because you're excited about having two tvs to watch football." Moments like that make me think we are right for each other.

You're right, it shouldn't be as simple as a roommate moving out. And if that really is how she feels then that says a lot about her. No more mind reading!

Your BF's a lucky man. You don't happen to have a football-loving sister in the Chicago area do you???? wink

I know, I keep telling him that!

My gfs in college all watched football. That's why I thought we were all good catches: watched sports, sci fi, smart, funny and cute! I keep telling myself that there are other men who will appreciate me if I decide to leave BF.

Sorry, no sister and no friends left in Chicago (had a football-loving friend in the windy city at one time).
