New Post for Wifey

[The Wifey]

I went to my class a little bit early so I could return some books to the bookstore. Because of that, my H had offered to check on the dogs. My M's and S's dogs are both ankle biters with smaller bladders, so I agreed that it would be a good idea.

Surprise, surprise, when I left class I had a text on my phone letting me know he decided to stay over. He was watching Obama's health care speech. I thought, humm, that is weird.

Anyhow I responded ok. That I'd set the DVR to record it. Just leaving campus. He went to bed before I got here (I have a 2 hr drive) which was just fine. I got ready for bed and just before I went in the bedroom he called out to ask if I had any problems driving home. I said that I didn't. See you in the morning.

I was at the table when he came out to the kitchen. I'm not human until I get my first cup of coffee in me, so I really wasn't chatty. He talked about how funny the 2 little dogs were. Didn't say much about the prez's speech.

He initiated a hug and kiss before he left for work. I just said to drive safe and have a good day.

I'm not even going to waste the energy wondering why he stayed over. Who knows why? All I know is it was a surprise. It worked out well, though, because I was tired when I got home and bleary eyed in the am. Not much conversation there at all.
