She's going to think what she's going to think. It does you no good to keep wondering what's going on in her head. Yes, your actions prior to the move showed her that you're letting go so keep moving in that direction.
Remind me what you're doing to improve yourself.

I've just started reading a book called "Beyond Anger". Basically explains that anger is a natural emotion we all feel, it's how we react to it that makes us different. I've been guilty in the past of making mountains out of mole hills. Hopefully this will help me to not sweat the small stuff. Ironically when it is a "mountain"...I'm cool, calm and composed...go figure.
Otherwise I've been keeping very busy. Lot's of projects around the house. Been spending more time with friends and family. Went to a fest yesterday and had a great time. I have my D11 for 6 days straight which is always enjoyable. Got find a way to get out and have some fun with new people though...still working on that.
How was your vacation???

I asked what you were doing to remind you that it's important to recognize your own weaknesses and work on making yourself the best person possible. (And you know I say "you" meaning all of us here, right?) It also helps you shift your focus from your spouse onto yourself.
Having fun with new people...definitely a key. What would be something completely out of your comfort zone? Have we already talked about this? Sorry, only got a couple hours of sleep and I'm already forgetful. I'm all for watching football at the bar to meet new people. What about an adult education class? Cooking, wine appreciation, landscape design, ballroom dance, woodworking... Those are my interests but you get the idea. Even if you end up hating it at least you tried it once!
My philosophy was to never say no to an invitation, no matter what it was. Have you seen the Jim Carrey movie [i]Yes Man[i]? Love it! I recommend it to everyone, it will inspire your GAL activities.

Don't just stick to things you already love. Try something completely outside the box. You'll feel empowered or end up having a funny story to tell! Hmm, let's see. Ok, if you love to cook, what about taking a cake decorating class? I'm guessing you're not usually into that sort of thing but you can use your new skills to make a fab birthday cake for your D.
Seriously, watch the movie.

I just joined a couple of social networking groups. One for dog lovers/owners and one that meets once a month at a local bar. Hopefully they have some upcoming get togethers. Still looking into a class.

Sounds good, just don't let it slide. I've met a bunch of new people and made a couple new friends through my tap class on top of getting killer calves.
What's on the agenda this weekend?

Not much planned other than a bike ride with my BIL's Sat and of course opening weekend of football season. I overextended myself last weekend so I've got to find something cheap to do.

Tonight's the night! We're going to order some pizza and watch the Titans whoop up on the Steelers (or so I hope).
I'm sure I've said before that I hung out at a sports bar every Sunday post-bomb dropping and had a ball. Not sure it would be quite as fun for you but it's still getting out of the house.
Any free outdoor events in your area? Or take a drive to see the fall colors? Or clean out your garage in preparation for the winter weather. I know that last one isn't so much fun but other people seem to find cleaning therapeutic.

Sorry about your Titans...their kicker blew it...missed two chip shots! That's OK...I have the Steeler's defense in fantasy football.
Always things to do around the house. I have my D's old room to clean out and a desk in the basement to dismantle and throw away. I am one of those who finds cleaning therapeutic. I'll find ways to keep busy. Thanks!
I have to ask...a Titans fan from Colorado???? What...not a big Kyle Orton fan??? BTW...thanks for Cutler !!!
