i hear u searching....i abstained for a while also. longer than i could have ever imagined possible. I did not want to rush into anything....abstenace is good.
I think Dennis the Menace will ultimatelly screw this up for us.... The way I feel right now, I will suggest that we see each other witout the kids for a while. i know I probably sound a little selfish and anti children but I am not. Her kids are just not ready, they are very clingy and crave their mom's attention very often. That may be normal for 12 and 13 year olds but when i compare D8 with them, they seem very immature. Well, nobody said it would be easy.
I think that you need to be honest about it if it bothers you. That is something I hope I do if/when I start dating...there is no commitment at this point, so you are free to figure out what you want and don't want. And if ultimately you decide you don't want Dennis in your life, that is your choice.
And another reason to be proud of that beautiful daughter you raised. You obviously did a lot of things right with her...
John, That may be the best solution for the time being. Or do some things together with the kids for shorter periods of time.
The kids obviously need more time to adjust to their mother having a new man in her life. The teen years are difficult enough as it is, but add a broken M and new R to the mix, and it just adds to the typical rebellious phase they go through.

She just invited me to the stables with D8. Dinnis will not be there so I may go.....if D8 is up to it. As per your suggestions, I will be honest with her and try to cut back on the time we spend with her kids. D8 adores her daughter by the way.
haven't posted in a while on my thread. not much to report other than that things are going well with NGF and D8 is still wonderful. She is on MSN messenger now and on her profile page it says that her DAD IS THE BEST! Bet that went over well with mom. My little cousin got married to Greek guy on Saturday...beautiful day for everyone...took NGF and D8. I don't think I will listen to Greek music for a while though.
