Oh you guys are mean.

EVERY woman is a creature of beauty and grace, a flower in the eye, a boon companion that can elevate us lowly men if we allow them too.

If only you both had the eyes to see.

heh...

Too much?

dammit...I think I nuked you guys...

Sooo one time in the Coast Guard...I had to get checked myself, and the Doc pulls out this long cotton swab. I get a little concerned, and ask him.

"Where exactly does that go?"

He explains in layman's terms the urethra, and says, "Don't hit me."

They showed us that video in boot camp. Pretty scary stuff.

I remember, when returning from a 2 month Alpac, it was known that the BMC had picked up the drip drip drip. Us single quartermasters stood on the bridge-wing watching in amazment as he greeted and kissed his wife on the pier. I never liked the guy since the time he caught me painting white paint over rust, but that moment made me really despise him.

I like this Frank. Laughing, joking and carrying on with the menfolk on here - LOL!

My friend, when you meet someone and you will, remember this -
not all of us are like your wife. Be open to the possibilities.

I am BM...thanks. I am ready to meet a new woman and start life anew. This just needs to get done. Outside of reaching a settlement, there should be no further need to exude anger, hate, etc. I read your post and don't feel bad about the ring thing. Yes..it stings for awhile. Leave him to his own devices.

Favorite Alaskan village names:
  1. Unalakleet
  2. Anuktuvuk
  3. Eggegik

Nasty memories of Alaska:
  1. the insidious cold..will never forget how quickly you lose sensation in your fingers
  2. trying an 'Eskimo ear pull' and losing (OUCH)
  3. muktuk
  4. Eskimo version of ice cream (lingonberries and seal lard)
  5. driving 3-5 hours to arrive where you want to get to in time to have enough sunlight to see what you want to see when you get there
  6. the hospital menu: fish, fish, fish, fish
  7. Chilkoot Charlies..somebody got busted up there every night

BM,

If all you women folk were like FIB's wife...more men would be in jail and there'd be less of you. FIB is a saint.

I have heard that seal meat is very rich and tasty.

Muktuk? The natives of Alaska know how to enjoy the finer things in life...

Hey Jack, yep, Frank is a saint for putting up with the likes of her.

FIB, you are right, you need to settle this and get your footing. Take some time to heal and get your head straight. You will know when you are ready to test the waters.

In the meantime, take care of you, my friend.
