MF,

I agree with what Mike said. It's all about you.

I also agree with his suggestion of just ripping the towel off next time. Initiating sex would not be a good thing to do right now, but a playful, oops sort of moment where you get to see him naked could be a good thing to show him that you still want him. And as a guy, knowing a woman wants you is terribly attractive! (Really missing that right now myself) Another idea would be to "accidentally" walk into the bathroom when you know he's naked. Just an idea?

Joey is a former student who is dying of degenerative mitochondrial disease at the ripe old age of 6 1/2. He's lapsed into a coma as of yesterday.

He plays soccer. Any more info -- I have no idea.

Well of to the hospital - sounds like things are solid by you.

Stacy

Just so you know... you're dealing w/a lot. I was just thinking about that this afternoon. Even the good you're dealing with is a lot.

HUGS MY FRIEND!!!!

Good morning my friend,

Joey was stable last night, his grandparents have arrived. I'm just sorry that they couldn't come earlier, before he was comatose. I'll be seeing him tonight, then I'm out of town for the weekend - which makes me feel a little guilty, but I need a break. And out of town means darn sure out of reach of crazy X2.

Been helping w/my former students the past two days - transitioning them into Kindergarten. The biggest problem has been the f*cking bus drivers, dropping them off at the wrong door, way too early and with no adult there to meet them. So this morning, I'm lying in wait and HEADS ARE GOING TO ROLL!! Those driver will rue the day they screwed around with my kids.

Then this afternoon, my littles have their first day!! I just hope I don't have to kill any bus drivers in the afternoon - although I will if I have to. And as far as the changing table goes, as of last night, there was no changing table anywhere in the whole school. Hmmmm. . . today will be interesting.

It sounds like you're sticking by your goals and succeedign handily, good for you. And there's whole lots of fun to be had this long weekend - so I hope you're planning on having yourself some!

Well, must go - I hope your day is at least half as fab as mine's going to be?

On a frivolous note - what do you think of the wide-legged pants?

Love ya,

Stace

Emotional time, eh?

Going anywhere good for the weekend???

Wide-legged pants... LOL Actually, I have these... should have bought them on eBay, instead of the local boutique!!!

I'm considering another pair. Your legs look endless in them, and they're superb w/heels/boots. I think they might only work, though, if they're a trouser-style. I can't see a five-pocket working with this cut.

You're not very tall... I'm wondering what that would do. I'm sure they would be proportionate.

Love ya!!

Journaling...

H was home last night. He had limited time, though, since he had left late on Monday evening, it's the week before Labor Day, and he has limited drivers and trucks available. I could tell, immediately, that he was completely sleep deprived.

He kept S9 while I took S12 to football and soccer training. He and S9 took apart D18's bed, and moved it and her dresser and nightstand out of her old room, so the carpets could be shampoo'd on Friday am. Then, since he needed to leave town again by about 8 or 8:30, S12 and I, met he and S9 at a local Italian restaurant. He had been fine, but sounding tired on the phone, but seeing him, I could tell, immediately, that he was completely sleep deprived.

He was a bit snippy a few times, but overall just fine. You roll with it a lot when you have a H who is sleep deprived a lot!! Hug and a kiss before he left town, and that was it...

So, then we have to call him, as we didn't reconnect about some tactical stuff at home. I think he had realized he was a bit snippy, and talked normal, wanted to be chatty, etc...

Up/Down/Up/Down... He was really fine. Just not engaged. I wouldn't want his schedule. That's why backing way off during the week is easy, since I don't know when he is sleeping, and he's always on a forklift, or loading a truck for a driver, or dealing with the other dispatchers. I, mostly, let him call me, unless I need something. He owns the trucking company, and dispatches drivers constantly, and from multiple locations. He has always been a very hard worker, but makes it work if he needs to be here for us.

My friend,

Emotional time?? Yes, very -- trying to keep exercising and trying to remember to eat, but sleeping isn't going very well. I'm looking forward to getting out of town and just resting, spa-ing, relaxing - flying west to see a good friend. It's the first weekend I've had in months where I'm not on the road visiting the soon to be departed.

I forgot to ask S14 what position he plays in soccer -- S12 had no idea, he's just like his mother.

Yes, the wide-legged pants would definitely be trouser style, and petite clothes are cut way down, I think I'll go ahead and try some. Fashion keeps my mind off all the emotional stuff going on right now.

I'm not planning on bringing my laptop this weekend, so don't be worried if you don't hear from me until late Monday or Tuesday.

I'll be checking in later today or tomorrow. Headed back up to the hospital to see Joey late this afternoon.

Have a great day!

Stace

Also, castrated two bus drivers this morning. Great amount of satisfaction out of that!
