Just read about the bomb outside the Athens stock exchange. It said a woman was hurt, do you know more? Hope you and your family are ok. Thanks for the short chat, it was lovely to hear your voice!
hugs, kat

As long as you are w/out expectations, then the letter is great! It has often been said to use writing letters to purge your feelings and get them out, but that advice also says not to send it.
However, in your case, I do agree w/Kerry that I don't think it would have been good for you to not have sent it. For you, the therapy is in getting it out there and presenting your stbx w/the "opportunity" to read it or not read it.
You said you didn't care if he read it, so I'm also glad you hit the send button. Again, this exercise is for your benefit and not his.
I'm glad you are taking these steps as they are so necessary for your long-term survival and recovery.
It will be good to see the kids today. As for stbx, just smile and wave.
stbxH came and left. Last year he had stayed, put all clothes away, the dirty stuff in the laundry basket etc etc and when I came home everything was ok. This year, he came with the clothes cleaned, didnt enter the apartment as I have told him he is not welcome here anymore and had deposited the CS money in my bank account- usually just gives me the money and seemed pretty much OK.
My kids are all grown up. It's the first time I was away from them for 12 days in their lives and mine.
I'm having a hard time letting go. There, I said it!! K

Try not to pump them for too much information. They will provide you with more than enough information as they feel comfortable. And there may come a time when you will have to let them know that you dont care to know.
Last night, at the sporting goods store, the kids went inside a mega sized camping tent and then were telling me that it had enough space for them, myself, Eddie, Mom, XGF and daughter and any future GF of mine. I bit my tongue.
