First she said it was good that I was open to different things because then that would make her explaining things easier. Basically she confirmed so much of what I have felt and heard from other sources. She asked me about a date in 1986, around the time Fergie and Andrew got married. Umm, that is when I met the Irishman in London. Very special time which I have yet to let fade.

She asked about 1994, around this time. There was a plane crash that killed everyone. I knew some of the crew and in fact one of the girls was in my training class. Received a valuable lesson about life and death but especially from my supervisor. He knew I was close to quitting but asked me to stay until I was comfortable flying again. If I didn't, the fear would win and I might never get on a plane again. I followed his advice. probably never truer words have been spoken.

Then she asked about 1999. I lost my grandmother, my kindred spirit. Shortly after I became pregnant with my youngest daughter.

Said that the guy I like is my soul connection. Even if things aren't right now, they will be. You can't avoid the soul connection. She asked why I didn't just come out and tell him what I felt. I said that I had put myself out there several times and while not rejected, I was sort of put in a holding pattern while he works his stuff out. Never put to me quite like that, just how I see it. She could tell for certain when it would come together but she thought the next few weeks were ripe for a revelation.

She told me other dates to look out for. I have my notes at home but I will add stuff as it makes more sense. Really good overall. Yes, Maria she asked how I knew you and then gave Ali credit for my finding her site.

Just popping in to see how you are doing. Sent my son to first grade today. How are your kids handling the new year?

The kids are doing pretty good and fitting into the morning routine surprisingly well. They seem to like their teachers. I know that d9 is happy that she has a younger teacher again because she didn't relate very well to the older one she had last year.

S16 is taking hard classes and seems fine so far. He isn't working too many hours which I think is fine with his class load. Besides he can still see movies for free.

S13 isn't talking too much about it but he knows that I expect a much better showing this year now that our lives have settled down somewhat. He is a huge help when it comes to projects and it amazes me how he can have so much of me and the smidge of his Dad in his personality.

D10 is just all girl like always. Quite happy in school and with her friends. No boyfriend yet this year but I am sure that doesn't bother her. Last year in grade school and she is sooo looking forward to having a locker next year! lol

Uggh, I so wish my XW would take the 'morning routine' actually all the routine more seriously. Both my boys said they were up til 11 last night before their first day, even tho it's only a few hours, that's not getting off on the right foot.

And then the doughnuts for breakfast. Pughh! She'll never learn I so wish I was in charge at this point.

Hey no where in there did I say they always went to bed when they should! lol As long as they are laying down and quite, it is a good thing. My youngest fights going to bed. Last year was craziness trying to get them out the door. Ex wasn't much help as he usually just stood there, not helping the kids with last minute stuff.

I am not counting on him at all this year if I can help it. He feels if the kids won't live part of the time out of town with him then he just can't be bothered. Little does he know they are relived that he won't be coming by each morning. Sad.

Hey, quick side note, I haven't given up on Italian. I have just been so drained with these dumb allergies that I haven't done the legwork that I wanted to. Don't give up on me yet!

Wow, that is quite sad.

Yet another revelation for XW. Who was there to motivate my boys? Who was there to talk confidence in them when they felt they weren't achieving? Who was there to quickly end desciplinary problems?

Oh yeah, the person who now only has but a little under 2 months a year exposure to them now, yet can still mold them to be fine young men.

Had a fun girly night with my girls. We watched "Coraline" for the umteenth time, made a dinner they picked and did our nails! My Mom wasn't very girly, so this was a lot of fun for me. Kids are incredible!!

How wonderful! I sometimes wish I had a girl to do girly stuff with. My girlfriends are a little too old to want to do that. All of my friends have all boys too. Oh well.....just have to have the makeup party all by myself.
