you MUST give your friends much much more credit. They "get" far more than you realize and honestly, truly, IF they believe her version of you, did they ever really know you? The venom is NOT attractive and speaks so much more than the venom spewer's realize. My neighbor's m is in trouble and in the past, her h made some big mistakes, and then, so did she. In the past, as a woman, I might have said "he was more wrong..." if you know what I mean.
But today?? Today is what matters and it's MY friend, the w, who's a bit## to be around and no one can stand HER spewing, even though maybe maybe maybe she was once justified...blah blah blah! all anyone knows is that as of NOW, she's the negative force so guess what? We avoid HER and invite HIM....and their kids seem to greatly prefer that. How sad is that? But yeah, it's fair. You may well experience something like that but you'll also be making new friends. You'll have to b/c of those who feel they must choose. I don't think most of your friends will "choose", btw. Why should they have to? Seriously, just be relatively pleasant (okay not over the top thrilled that you are FREE!!) and be interested with them BUT confess that it wasn't what you wanted way back when but all you care about now are the kids, and just BE A FRIEND to your friends....the real ones will be like gold. And you'll know who they are.
Cliche? Sure. But still it's true. (I'll post more after this week b/c mil is labor intensive but I'm okay with that. Today was better.) So how much longer for you now?? xoxo J-
