Hey Mike - I was looking at some videos last night of Bear Bryant. What a man and a coach that guy was! I am sure he left a lasting impression upon every player that ever knew him. Nick Saban has some big shoes to fill.
It would be cool if the Beavers could play the Tide someday as coach Mike Riley played for the Tide and won 4 SEC titles in the 4 years he played.

That old checkerboard fedora is still worn all over the stadium on game day..
looks like the Tide comes in ranked #5 while the "chokies" come in at #7....I'll be anxious to see if Julio Jones can run through and over the, "always really good' Tech secondary.....VT is known for their excellent special teams play(beamer was a special teams guru before being named head coach)...so it may just come down to the kicking game...VT also has a "vick" like QB..very mobile and has a good arm who has finally earned starting honors and won't have to share time this year..should be a good game...
speaking of rings..Saban has one big ring on his finger...won while at LSU...check it out if you see the game
