I still keep in touch with some of my XW's friends. But my situation is quite different in that XW is not angry and she has praise for me.
It has to be very tough for you knowing that she is speaking harshly about you to common friends. But if they are true friends, they will know your character and see your STBXW for who she truely is - an angry woman who puts on an act. Continue to take the high road and dont bring up the hostility when speaking with common friends.
