Thank you for all you support & prayers. Well, I've had another email from OW, it was actually sent to a several people but of course she had to include me. She has changed now & has her own email address, but from what I understand even if my ex has one she is the one answering emails or writing them. I will change the names but here it is:
We are settled…the house is beautiful thanks to furniture purchased in Chiang Mai prior to our return to Laos…Our household goods arrived, the staff is hired (oh how that makes me so happy!), a housekeeper (English speaking!), gardener and security… (I still can’t figure out why we need security here – it is such a beautiful, quiet place!), and the internet is working! Whew! (EX)is loving his new job and is already off to Australia for training. He will be in Perth this coming week. Ah, a short trip so no diving this time…(sorry (EX)!) We will save the diving for our trip to the Great Barrier Reef – (EX)’s only wish for his 50th Birthday in February! I am settling in….making great new friends and considering the options for volunteering here. There are many great organizations doing amazing work – it’s hard to decide! I am also working on some consulting projects and deciding how to best market my website… www......net. I hope to take a quick trip back to the U.S. in September to see my kids and grandkids as well as do some much needed shopping for those things we just can’t get in SE Asia… It’s a tough job….but someone has to do it! All is calm and wonderful…we update Facebook pages regularly and are both available on Skype too! Stay tuned…Or better yet….send YOUR update! Love and hugs! (OW) & (EX)
