ST - In a bit of a hurry... We are/were always in the same "bed," however, H's back had been hurting him. We played musical mattresses, and the past few weeks he had taken to liking a firmer feel, and was sleeping on only the box spring, next to D18's old Queen mattress on our King box spring. It was literally musical mattresses! I knew he was having issues, but with our history, current situation, etc... I felt like it could be an excuse to move farther (further? LOL) away from me. I told him as such, without emotion. Within a week, he was switching the mattresses back to normal, with an excuse "A friend of mine told me that if I propped my back up in the back, any mattress should be ok. Oh, and you're right, it's not really helping to sleep apart."
