Ok I can understand if SHE has a speech problem. I don't understand how that would cause your XH to slur??
I'm sorry she called, it sounds like you handled it well. Try not to get pulled into their mess, but at the same time I would be very concerned for your children if he is using. They do not need to be exposed to that.
