Here is a new road bump. My folks have been close to w. When this started happening, they stayed close, trying to help out in any way they could. When things started getting really bad and w started getting kinda pissy, they distanced themselves a little bit. Mom didn't call as much, and weren't easily available to babysit for our kids when she wanted to go out with her friends and I was working late or out myself. Tonight, my folks invited us to dinner. W said no quite quickly. I didn't ask why. Later when me and the boys were about to leave for my folks', she said she knew my folks were avoiding her. I said they always tell me they miss her. So this is a strike against me in W's mind. I left after saying that, and I am sure she will be out when I get home. Probably better that she isn't.
