MF (ummm, for the REST of ya'll, short for My Friend),

Horrible day at work, the troll truly hates me, and hasn't even hired an assistant for my classroom. The class list is a little shop of horrors you'd never want to visit, and she still plans on putting the changing table in my classroom
mad cry mad cry

I'll post later regarding your two previous posts.

Love ya, sweetie.

Oh, and I've got a secret. Too bad you're SOOOOOOOO busy that you can't have lunch with me and find out what it is whistle

Stace

Hi MF

Like the moniker! Wish it were Handful too!

Have to say, I`m finding the lack of intimacy thing with us pretty difficult too. And since men are supposed to want it more, that leaves me quite puzzled.

Meanwhile, I`ll go blast the ozone layer with my battery usage!

On the other hand, like that your H has been very affectionate.
Lucky girl! Enjoy it!

Stace:

Just back from the first varsity football game of the season. We played (of all schools) RACINE! The public schools here STINK, so my kids go to a Lutheran school system. They play in some Northern Conference, and this year RACINE is in it! LOL! We lost 0-6... Oy! Was it muddy!

S12 had practice after school... I bought him those practice pants w/the pads sewn in (so I didn't have to keep taking them out when I washed them - if he wore the school supplied ones) and they are just SMEARED in mud. They scrimmaged this afternoon in a swamp. UGH!

My friend and I tailgated at her house prior to the game, as she lives a few blocks from the school. Fun!

H just called - a little more evidence of fog lifting. He asked if I could have S12 and S9 move our king mattress back onto our bed. "I don't think this sleeping arrangement (him on the floor because his back is hurting him) is good for us." My response: "I know what you mean. Thanks for that."

We'll see.

A little not so great news, FOLLOWED by some decent news...

The soccer coach has a girlfriend! How dare he?!?!?!

BUT,

last night at the party we were talking to one of my friends who is interested in a date. One of my BFF's has a potential date for her... He's a partner of her husbands (radiologist). Well, BFF calls me today. "We have a problem. Partner doesn't want to date any more blondes. Says he wants a red head or brunette!" LOL I said, "BFF, we might have our girl!" Now how do we pull this one off if I can't get lunch?

Oh - forgot - Proud Mom Moment

S12 is in 7th grade.

He's playing football for the school. 7th grade doesn't kick off or punt. 8th grade does. Monday's their first game. S12 is playing safety and something else in his game. And, the coach asked him to kick/punt for the 8th grade game! (I knew all that soccer kicking would come in handy in multiple ways some day!)

Good morning, my friend ((((MF)))),

Are your soccer games a go? It's rainy/thundering here, and a whopping 51 degrees, w/the wind howling in from the lake. Don't even WANT to know what the wind chill is, I'd probably kill myself.

Although D19 is moving back to school today, so better cooler than hot. D17 and I are going w/her, but they'll be dropping me at the Children's Hospital to spend some time with Joey. That'll give his parents time to run back home, shower, etc. The girls pointed out that I'm not much help with the actualy MOVING of stuff (true), and they've lined up a half dozen young men to do the schlepping for them - MINIONS!! I guess I've raised them right, after all.

It sounds like you're doing well with your goals. I don't think that you're having a problem detaching. Just because you cried the other night, that doesn't mean you're not detaching. Detaching is about letting go of outcomes and expectations, - it does not mean that you don't care anymore, or that it's not going to hurt sometimes. You're doing a great job, honey.

Well, off to Milwaukee!

I'm going to look at the thread for the clothes you bought. Maybe tomorrow.

Stace

(((((mf)))))

Are you saying that H is actually going to sleep on the same bed with you? That he realizes it's been "bad" for your R not too? Oh, my!

(((((Stacy)))))

I hope you don't freeze today! No danger of that here! wink

It sounds like you have your daughters well trained! I hope your time with Joey goes well. It's great that you can help his parents out like that.
