I'm glad hers has grown out! I deal with it by keep it REALLY short-- I have a pair of clippers at home. As long as I keep it short I don't pull.
I'm sure your H's revolving door antics have caused her a lot of stress-- was that a contributing factor to her pulling (and if so, does your H feel like a jerk about it)? Mine started after a major trauma.
