WOW!!! Your D went without her hat? That's fabulous! What an accomplishment!!!! Out of curiosity, does she have a special permission from the school to wear a hat or is that not a rule there? The reason I ask is that there is a girl in Marc's high school with alopecia (sp?) and they won't permit her to wear a hat in school. I think it's terrible that they won't since she wants to wear only a plain cap with no printing on it at all. Her head is still patchy and she said she wants to wear the hat until it all falls out. Of course, they permitted a cancer patient going through chemo to wear her hat during treatment. Weird double standard going on in our schools here I think. frown

I feel you on the being a single parent. Dealing with absolutely everything while xh plays occasional visitor in our son's life makes me crazy. Exhaustion reigns supreme in my life these days. smile
