I used to live in LA when I was a kid. They came out with a report that if you raised your kids there until the age of 18, they had a 200% increased chance of developing emphasemia! Mom's asthma was pretty bad out there so we moved back to our hometown. Not that Kansas is a whole lot better in that regard, but she is doing a whole lot better without the pollution.
