Let's just hop to the pasta shall we: spaghetti, Lasagne, ravioli, rigatoni and on and on!! I am heaven. I didn't like "Eat, Pray, Love". I was so mad at her for leaving her marriage the way she did. But Italy...I can grant her that.

I am going to keep checking websites.

Kat,

If you have a decent public library system there where you are, try that to see if they have any such language media to check out. Worth a look.

Silly me, I hardly use the library for anything! I'll check it out. Thanks. However, I am still going to do some checking on websites and see what they have to offer so maybe those that are interested can all do the same thing. smile

Stupid allergies! Had a sore throat last night and it bothered me throughout the night. S13 has them bad to and is coughing up a storm. At least one of us will be home feeling bad and hopefully getting better.

I knew it was going to be bad last night when I got off work and my eyes started hurting from all the pollen. Blech!

Ohhh, I so do not miss my allergy problems. From age 8 through about 30 they were horrendous, requiring pills, inhaler, sprays, shots, you name it. Had problems with my rear upper molars, had em pulled and poof, problems solved. crazy

I hear ya on Eat, Pray, Love kat. I was pretty mad at her too but as soon as she got to Italy I got over it. I could see her journey in a different light then instead of dwelling on the way she abandoned her M. I have friends in India so it made me miss them even more when I read about the Ashram and all th meditation. They are always talking about their unique experiences there.

Sorry about the allergies. I never had them until I moved to 'pollen central' - AKA the ATL!

I have my wisdom teeth out, one would have thought that would have helped!! Ragweed is the worst for me and my allergies seem to get worse every year. I would like to be able to enjoy being outside more but between the heat and the allergies, not going to happen. Maybe it is time to woman up and get to the doctor and get some shots? Yikes!

In the book, I loved how she talked about Italy. Never really got into India and again just found myself disliking her. Never read the whole thing. Perhaps it is one of those things that you go look at later and enjoy it because you are in a better place. I may have to wait on that.

Anybody have any good allergy relief ideas?

kat

You are just way too funny!! I would love to move but S16 is so close to being done. Hope you are doing better. I'm checking your thread next.
