H just rang (unusual) to say he forgot to tell me he was going rock climbing tonight:
Me: "Great, have fun, will you eat dinner out or do you want me to keep your dinner" H: "dinner would be great if you could keep it" Me: No worries, will do" H: So I will be later home Me: Yeah, that's fine, I'll see you whenever you get here, have fun" H: "Oh, okay, see you then"
The confused tone in his voice made me smile even more which came across loud and clear in my voice. I got off the phone and had a little chuckle, he was clearly bemused. My normal attitude would have sounded really down and disappointed, conversation would not have been as above. Doing a little dance now, yeah.
Still no answer though on the party Saturday night.
