Thanks Dylan! Would you like that straight up or do you want it mixed with something?

Sure, I am trying to check out some sights and then I guess we can practice on each other. The other option is to buy the lessons that come on cd...those are about $200, yikes!

My son is switching from French to Italian this year - I am hoping to get the Rosetta computer program for him. Maybe I'll hop on board, too (although I should get Spanish down, first - about 1/2 my students speak that, or portugese...)

Wouldn't that be fun??!! I took a little French but I have always wanted to learn Italian. Danish just isn't used much though it can help a bit with Nowegian and Swedish. That is my primary foreign language but here I go!

Ever since I read "Eat, Pray, Love" I've wanted to take Italian lessons! It's such a beautiful language that seems to just roll off the tongue with ease. I took 3 years of Spanish, married a Spanish speaker but still couldn't conjugate the verbs! My poor son should have learned Spanish from his dad but he could never be bothered to speak it to him. Why? His excuse was because I would get annoyed since I didn't understand. Yeah right! That's why I was constantly trying to get him to teach him....because I'd be annoyed! smile I understand a lot, but just can't form sentences myself. I wonder if the Spanish I know would help with Italian.

Ok Kat - I'm serious about this! How do we go about learning Italian together? I think John could help us out here too. I'm pretty sure he speaks quite a bit of it!

If you understand Spanish, Italian will be very easy for you...

Cappuccino, Latte, Espresso, Macchiato, ...

I think we've got a lot of Italian wrapped up already, just in our favorite breakfast beverages alone.
