Ever since I read "Eat, Pray, Love" I've wanted to take Italian lessons! It's such a beautiful language that seems to just roll off the tongue with ease. I took 3 years of Spanish, married a Spanish speaker but still couldn't conjugate the verbs! My poor son should have learned Spanish from his dad but he could never be bothered to speak it to him. Why? His excuse was because I would get annoyed since I didn't understand. Yeah right! That's why I was constantly trying to get him to teach him....because I'd be annoyed! I understand a lot, but just can't form sentences myself. I wonder if the Spanish I know would help with Italian.

Ok Kat - I'm serious about this! How do we go about learning Italian together? I think John could help us out here too. I'm pretty sure he speaks quite a bit of it!
