I think it went good. S15 was going through his calendar last night figuring out when all the school holidays are. He only went half a day and he has easy classes so far so should be fine. He has an aide that is taking him to his classes.
D9 had 2 hours of homework last night. I'm guessing most kids would take an hour on it, but she takes about twice that. Hopefully if they put her in special ed for some of her classes, they'll do things like cut down the spelling words from 20 to 10 or so. It takes her 30 minutes just to write them.
I guess it's too soon to tell; but seems ok so far. How did your kids do (did they have their first day also?) Karen
