Hey VH!

Thank you VERY much for your clear, detailed instructions. I really appreciate it! You inspired me. I pulled out my mini-mag light and crawled under the sink. The garbage disposal hums, so it seems to be getting power. Found the reset button (Yeah! laugh ). Didn't know about the disposal shaft (Thanks!). Found an allen wrench that fit the shaft and tried turning both directions. Didn't move at all frown . The garbage disposal is hard-wired so it would seem that given my ineptitude with electrical wiring, turning off the power and putting my hand into "the beast" is not an option for me. I'm thinking that I might need to put on a nice skirt, sandals, and mascara and head down to Home Depot to ask some nice clerk how this model works.....In the meantime (VH this will give you a GOOD laugh, so listen up) I put a bunch of penetrating oil through the chute, thinking that the bolts may have become rusted ( crazy).

Thank you again for your helpful feedback and moral support. It is much appreciated!.............. Silent Cheerleader I am in even more awe of you after my little foray into disposal-world.
