Highjack Alert!!! Sorry for highjacking,.......Silent Cheerleader, how did you figure out how to take your garbage disposal apart and fix it? Mine hasn't worked for about 9 months and I don't want to pay someone to fix it.

Well, Jeff answered the question much better than I could have! When I took it apart, I just unscrewed whatever screw I could find until it came apart.......and then when I got the rocks out, I reversed the process.......and got lucky!!!

I agree with the advice the others have given.......depression is not rational, and you need to treat it as any other health issue and get help......and if you're not satisfied, get a second opinion! And, there are other health issues it could be too (like fibromyalgia, etc...) which is all the more reason to see your Dr.
