Oz, his reply seems to simply indicate that the problem is yours. My H was like this and still is to some degree. He didn't want to make decisions anymore unless it suited him. He frequently put the ball back in my court. It doesn't mean he isn't coming with you...he probably hasn't even decided, as strange as that may seem. Probably leaving options open.
Enjoy the movie, haven't seen either and I've never been to a movie alone but I have been to coffee alone. I did see Adam last week and I really enjoyed that-really made me think.
