Yeah I will think about this one for a bit, don't want to appear as though I need him to go to the movies just want to appear as though I am asking as he may be interested in this particular movie. I have the day to ponder.

Ok

Need serious advice here.

The agent looking after the townhouse I want to rent has just told me that whilstthe owner is happy, body corporate has to approve the pets which could take up to two weeks. I obviously don't have two weeks I have till Friday.

Do I now tell H about this situation and see what his response is or do I tell H and add that I will have to apply today for some other properties but not giving him any input as to where or what type of property.

HELP

Ye gadz and little fishies.

I guess non-pet lovers would say put the pets in the kennel and move in ... as you know, that wouldn't be my advice as it would be like moving without your kids!

I don't know Oz ... I guess this is a tough one. In your shoes, I would probably fess up to H and see what he comes up with. Don't know if that's the DB way to go about it though - may be just my emotional stance.

To go it alone would be a real sign of strength on your part but it's hugely stressful .... this is one for the experts, I reckon. Will be watching though ...

The thing is he will be paying the rent if he moves with me or 1/2 rent if he doesn't (hope that isn't the case though), so I would have to tell him at some point anyway.

Precisely, so nothing there to lose, I wouldn't have thought. Am I right in saying that your house currently is sold, hence you are all moving out?

I wonder what the body corp stance will be with pets - could you not ring them to ask - it may expedite things??

I know that we were OK taking 3 cats to our rental when we first got here but they were strict about having the place cleaned when we left 7 weeks later.

The agent was going to ring the body corporate again today but the problem is they have to have their meeting and vote on it.

I just wish that this had been made clear to me at the beginning.

Bugger. Well, that as they say, is in the lap of the Gods. Nothing that you can do will swing that excepting for putting pressure on the agent ... are you able to?

Only other suggestion is to start looking for Plan B - quickly. We managed to secure our second rental (for two years) within four days and so it can be done ... still with three cats.

Oz, just keep the faith ... right now, you just have to extend it a bit and know that what will be will be. Something HAS to happen, we just don't know what.

Yesterday is history, today is a mystery - that's why it's also called the PRESENT. grin Something will turn up and it will be GOOOOOOOD. This is YOUR time.

I like that yesterday is history, today is a mystery - so damn true.

Will go and get some lunch, ponder and then come back and apply for another one I have my eye on.

Don't ponder my friend - ponderers lose out! Apply - you can always turn it down .... Carpe Diem - seize the day!!

I'm off soon for C#2 session. Wonder what that will bring??

Waiting to hear from H as to what day he plans to come down this week ... talk about separation anxiety ... it's killing.

Catcha later.

Hope your session goes well, just remember it is for you.

Yes, the separation anxiety really hurts, I don't think you really get over it, you just learn to live and deal with it so it doesn't consume you.
