The tenant above me just moved out today. The tenant on top floor, the "dumper" wanted to see the electric box in basement so he came down and played around with the switches. He may have been on a scouting mission for LL. ? Anyway, house is clean and all my things in basement are organized nicely. Basement reeks of mold/mildew and he started sneezing when he was down there. So if he harbored any notion that my pets are what stink in the basement as was their initial complaint, then he has to realize whats up. He called the LL a wicked person and said she's evil. I kept my mouth shut. I don't trust him. Just a couple months ago he was leaving bizarre racial messages at my door and pooping on the roof of my sunporch. Now he's trying to act like my ally against the evil LL. I don't buy it. Anyway, if he assumed the problems in basement were being caused by my pets, then he now knows different. He asked whose stuff is all this? I showed him the area where my things were neatly stored and then explained that everything else was abandoned items LL left behind when she moved. So if she's been complaining to him that I have the basement full of garbage, like she's trying to tell me, then he has now seen the real story. He looked around at it all and shook his head. I showed him where black mold is growing in a few places, and where the water is running in from. Looked at 2 places this a.m. Continues to be discouraging. The 2nd place turns out to be a place I looked at in June. I recognized it when I pulled up. Funny, it looks much better to me now than it did then since I've seen so many worse places. It's a good price for the size. But it isn't home. See some more this afternoon.
Thinking about the xbf more than I should. Was so good to see him. Hopefully he's thinking a little about me too. I know we have the one huge fundamental difference - I love pets, he hates pets. But we were quite compatable on nearly all else. Maybe the pets issue is just too much for him, but I remain hopefull that in time we can be in a relationship with seperate apartments. Meanwhile..... can't afford to spend too much time in fantasy dreamland. Must get back to reality at hand.
