There is just nothing that can be done with some people when their mind is made up. I know in the end I am coming out a better person, I don't think she will be able to say the same.
This has been kind of a tough day. Kids started school, I got them on the bus, normal for me, I have always done that, but she would be here to get them off. She did plan too but got sick and couldn't hardly get out of bed. That is not necessarily the tough part, I have always been there for her when she has been sick. I want to call to check and see how she is doing, but I know that would basically just feed the cake eating. I can't do that. I want to fully detach and thought I was close, but with these feelings now, I know I am not.
