How do you know that it isn't mutual, mish?

I'm totally not even close to his type. No biggie, he's a great friend though and those don't come easily.

Going to a party at a friend's house tonight to 'celebrate' the finalization of her D and the end of her employment with a mutual friend that was driving her over the edge of her sanity! Should be good times.

Marc is becoming very adept at making social plans for himself. Not so good at asking permission first though. I'm glad that he is taking the initiative to get together with friends as he doesn't have many but he assumes that it's ok to just do whatever without asking me. Grrr.... I was telling him this morning that I was coming home at lunch and putting together a pan of enchiladas and would call him to put them in the oven so they would be ready when I got home and he told me he wasn't going to be home. Huh? I don't want to stifle him, but how should I address this so that he remembers to ask permission first before he makes plans? Suggestions?
