If you're dead, you won't have to explain anything, silly.

Glad I made no mention of the black thigh high boots that go it!

Going to take my boys to meet their new teachers. They act like they're not excited, but they are.

Waiting for my new name to be approved - or whatever they call it.

It's a good thing you didn't mention the boots.

What the heck is goin' on in here???

Sheesh!

Ok, I'm tired of this homework thing already! S12 is in 7th grade, and he has Honors Algebra. There are only three 7th graders in the class, two eighth graders, and the rest are Fresh/Soph. The FIRST night of homework, and he's doing ok... Needs help with one or two of the last problems... He's already passed my math abilities!! LOL

I told him to leave me alone, and come back to me when you have a paper to write, a PowerPoint to put together, or a sentence to diagram. Call your Dad!

Not sure how he's going to play football and club soccer.

H calls tonight. "W, my God! You're harder to get ahold of than D18 when she was supposed to be home!" MB, "Oh, Gosh, I didn't even notice you called. I had a lunch/software demo, two conference calls, school pick-up, football pick-up and two soccer practices. What's up?" He says... "Oh, I was just wondering what was going on." MB, "Oh, well, looks like I covered that! Do you want to talk to S9? He's here and wants to tell you about his first full day of school."

I just noticed he called me two more times, since we've been home (90 minutes)

This dim thing is kind of funny.

MB,

I did have a slight moment. When ArchNemesis boss asked me for the number of the pre-school director it was so hard not to say: 1.800.GOF*CKYOURSELF. But I said it in my head, and thought of you. Had to smile.

Very tired and sleepy - up too late last night. Planning on turning in soon, but hoped I'd touch base with you.

What have you been up to tonight?

Doing my intel tomorrow. We'll have to synchronize watches, etc.!

So hoping I'll finish unpacking tomorrow - should be able to, one of my former parents is coming in to help me for a few hours. The kids helped for three hours today - the girls got some bulletin boards up for me, the boys schlepped stuff and argued with each other. Probably bring the boys in tomorrow - ALL the toys have to be washed and bleached. Gee, I don't know why EVERYONE doesn't want this glamorous job!!

Are we having drinks at lunch? If so, I might make D17 drop me off, then she can shop until I summon her to fetch me. Yes - a minion!!

Ok, I'm going to post to Jeff and Stronger - but I'll check back before I go to bed.

Watching "Mama Mia" w/daughters and five other girls. These girls are just howling. Maybe I should stay up til it's over. They're LOUD - would keep me up.

Stace

Stace! HAHAHA! Hey, I am such a blessed thought in your mind!!

Tonight? The kid runaround. Soccer for S9, football for S12, soccer for S12... And, there has to be some sort of snack or mini-meal in between each! God! And, you should have smelled my car at the end of the night! Why do boys stink so much?

Intel! Yea! Those suckers are really becoming a thorn in my side. I think they've closed the office, and are trying to run it out of their home(s). If you knew the biz they are in, you'd agree how stupid it is! IF it is the case, and it's closed... We're in the money!

If not, I need a new strategy. I'm good at those, though. And, I am competing w/a bunch of males. In my industry, that's a huge bonus for me!

I can't believe the prep work for you to teach! Is it mostly because you moved? Can you please make sure you get a mani PRIOR to our lunch!?

I will absolutely have a drink(s) at lunch. I have to drive back home, though, so I'll need to chase them w/a Red Bull to make it home w/out falling asleep! I'd love to meet the D17! Either way... works!

PS - Girls are LOUD! I still am!

I do miss that about D18 living at home. We were party central, probably because I'd fall asleep while they were here, leaving open access to the pub! LOL NOT But, they were here non-stop, weekends, Monday's - THE HILLS nights, cooking something all the time, messing up the kitchen, in and out the front door non-stop, slamming it, sticking their heads in our master bedroom to say hi to Mrs. MB. They drove me nuts, but I miss the heck out of them!

MB,

As if I would show up to lunch w/your fabulous self and not have a mani, pedi, bikini wax, blow out and seaweed scrub?? Oh honey, I'll be groomed within an inch of my life!!

Speaking of blow outs, I get them twice a week when I wear my hair straight. In the end it saves SO much time. They can get my hair under control and looking great in a third of the time that it takes me. And none of the dreaded bad hair days. My hair is beastly - naturally curly - and I got sick of fighting it - so I pay someone else to fight with it. That's what you call a win/win!!

I agree about the boys. They always seem to sort of smell like wet dog. One tiny bit of sweat, and they start to stink immediately.

It is extra work to unpack because I was moved. But every year the rooms are cleaned over the summer, and the custodians just push all the furniture wherever the he!! they want. So you always have to move everything back. And the walls have to be bare for cleaning, so you take all that down and then put it all back up. And the toys have to be cleaned in a very specific manner. But that's during the school year, also. I clean more then our janitor!!!

And one of my new students has a feeding tube, so I need to go to the refresher course on that, as it's been a few years since I've had a student with one of those.

Excuse me "competing w/males"? Oh honey, there is no competition. Men should just throw in the towel immediately. Resistance is FUTILE!!

It's quiet on here tonight. Hopefully everyone's having a peaceful evening.

Including you, my friend.

I agree about the girls. My girls and their friends are constantly baking -- cookies, brownies. Like every night - it's crazy.

But my older daughter uses the treats with the autistic children she works with. And younger daughter takes them to the hospital where she works (candy striper on the pediatric ward) - and passes treats out there also. But there are always too much of it laying around here to tempt me. But I've managed to lose 5 lbs. this week, so beastly hot, so much working, and then not hungry because it's too hot to eat.

It's just not the same dynamic with my boys, and I love them to pieces, but there's just something so fun about the high spiritedness of these girls.

Hi MB! Just trying to catch up with you but gace up! You`re way too busy for me!

You sound upbeat though and all your dbing efforts are going okay-right?

I often wonder about the busy factor though in all our marriages-so much to do we left the marriage on the back burner.

School, extra curricular stuff not up and running here til Spet. Dreading it already!
