Pining. I don't think I'm pining. I'm disappointed. I'm probably a bit doubtful about myself, though I am pretty sure that's unfounded.
On the other hand, I am pretty optimistic about the future. Maybe a bit impatient. Ready to turn the page, but the page isn't ready to be turned. Getting close though.
